Established in close partnership with leading Afghan business house Park Group, Afghan Connect provides the critical local interface, logistical backbone, and cultural understanding that has made Educast’s healthcare and education programs a nationwide success.

Through its unique hybrid structure—combining Afghan entrepreneurial networks, public sector relationships, and Educast’s digital infrastructure—Afghan Connect has emerged as a powerful platform to localize international investments for maximum community impact.

Origins & Evolution

The roots of Afghan Connect were seeded in Educast’s earliest interventions in Afghanistan, which included:

  • Deployment of virtual learning classroomsin 20 provinces.
  • Training over 5,000 Afghan doctors and healthcare workers, including 50% women.
  • Delivering live and self-paced medical education, supported by global experts from Pakistan, the UK, and the U.S.
  • Launching digital health hubs, supported by IsDB and AHTF.

With rapid expansion and increasing on-ground demand, Educast created Afghan Connect as its local implementation and coordination arm to ensure efficient execution and compliance with local needs and sensitivities.

Afghan Connect’s Role in the Educast-ISDB Telehealth Program

As part of the landmark Educast-IsDB-AHTF initiative, Afghan Connect has:

  • Coordinated all logisticsacross 20 provinces, including equipment deployment, network installation, and facility setup.

As Educast prepares for Phase III of its IsDB-supported expansion into cancer diagnosis, second opinion tele-oncology, and diaspora engagement, Afghan Connect will continue to:

  • Coordinate Pak-Afghan Cancer Boards and cross-border facilitation, including travel logistics, visa support, and treatment navigation.
