Educast – Sudan Intervention Plan with Bayan University

Empowering Health and Medical Education in Crisis-Affected Sudan

Educast (Pvt.) Ltd, in partnership with Bayan University Sudan, is launching a landmark initiative to strengthen digital health access, medical training, and telemedicine deployment in Sudan—responding to the growing humanitarian crisis and collapse of traditional healthcare infrastructure due to ongoing conflict.

With its track record of successful interventions in Afghanistan, Yemen, and Palestine, Educast brings a robust, scalable telehealth and virtual education ecosystem, ready to support Sudanese healthcare professionals, students, and underserved populations through low-cost, high-impact solutions.

Key Objectives of the Sudan Intervention

  • Support disrupted medical education for thousands of students at Bayan University through deployment of Educast’s self-paced, cloud-based medical curriculum platform.
  • Train and certify over 500 Sudanese doctors and nurses via virtual CME (Continuing Medical Education) programs, with academic support from Dow University of Health Sciences and Pakistani medical experts.
  • Deploy 50+ telemedicine units across clinics and hospitals in Khartoum, Port Sudan, and refugee-heavy regions for primary care, maternal health, and chronic disease management.
  • Establish Sudan-Pakistan Medical Knowledge Exchange, enabling Sudanese health professionals to receive real-time guidance and second opinions from Pakistani and diaspora specialists through Educast’s eDoctor network.
  • Provide tele-mental health and trauma counseling services to support families affected by displacement, conflict, and war-related psychological stress.

  • Reinstatement of medical learning for 2,000+ medical students
  • Tele-consultation support for 20,000+ patients annually
  • Local empowerment of Sudanese doctors through AI-powered diagnostic tools
  • Digitization of patient records and remote clinical supervision through Educast’s platform
